As COO you will drive operational excellence, talent development, and scalable processes across our small software outsourcing company. Note that this is NOT a hands-on technical, coding or CTO role. You will not be responsible for client delivery or project outcomes. This is a part-time role, expected to take 8-12 hours per week.<br /><br /><br />

- Oversee HR / talent pipeline / career development processes, working closely with the CTO/CEO. This includes ensuring the hiring pipeline aligns with headcount plans and that everyone has a clear role description, competency expectations, and a career path.
- Support the CTO to ensure that developers have all the systems they need to work effectively.
- Ensure processes are fair, transparent, and consistently applied across the company.
- Oversee the office manager to ensure the office is maintained as a great place to work.
- Translate leadership intent into operational reality by acting as the point of integration between HR, IT, finance, and office operations.
- Identify operational friction and drive simplification, standardization, or automation as needed.
Gevraagd profiel
- Former delivery director/operations lead in a software outsourcing or SI company.
- Product development or engineering manager with strong operations/process exposure.
- Management consulting or PMO background with experience scaling service orgs.
- Military logistics experience
- 2+ years of previous cross-cultural work experience and willing to learn the local language.
